It has been raining here at Love and Life at Leadora for the past four days. I was thinking how fun it would be to have these Hunter rubber boots from England. Do you think that when wearing these I could talk with an English accent too?
Ooops, lost my first message. Your house looks so cute. I heard you were getting lots of rain. My daughter is at Disneyland this week and getting wet. Merry Christmas.
I think it's a fine idea to pretend to be in England if you're getting all that rain. Everyone needs a pair of wellies!! I've been known to wear pink flowered rain boots to my favorite fair grounds when scouring for antiques in the rain. Beautiful front door.
If it's raining I pretty sure those adorable boots are a must! I would think the accent would come with it. If not you could always just say Jolly Good - no matter what it always sounds English to me. LOL
A pair of rainboots are on top of my Christmas wish list too...But the ones I wanted are polka-dot, hee, hee, hee. However, if the ones on your wish list make you speak with an Engilsh accent, well then I want those instead :-) Have a wonderful rainy day...It's been raining non-stop all morning here. BTW, love your porch.
Even though it's raining your home still looks inviting! Love those boots and I totally don't see why you couldn't talk with a british accent! Hugs,Traci
Actually... most English folks I know walk around in wellies (wellington boots- rubber boots) with the most atrocious patterns you could imagine. Mine feature pink roses, and I wear them with pride, even to work. Maybe the folks around my area are just not posh enough! lol Which english accent would you like to speak? Stiff- upper- lip southern accent or rough- as dogs- northern slang? You wouldn't believe how many nuances there are, even after four years in England I still don't bloody understand most of the buggers! :D

I always wanted those type of boots. Not sure if the accent comes with them though.
