Every year, I decorate my tree with a woodland theme. Except this year I did not bring out my 6 foot tree, but instead I decorated a small, 4 foot tree...
I took my cute mushrooms and placed them in a "gap" in the tree...
You can tell that I "shove in" lots of things in my Woodland tree, like beeskips and birdhouses....
Every year I tell myself that I need a different theme, but I just can't resist the toadstools, woodland animals, and sweet birds...
What Christmas theme tree do you have this year?
What a super cute tree!!! I love the birds and woodland animals and the beehives too! The mushrooms are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI'm completely smitten with your tree. It's just fantastic...especially with the addition of those lovely toadstools.
ReplyDeleteHeather! This is seriously fantastic. Really well done. I swear I can see a fairy settling in with the toadstools! :) Cost Plus! Miss it!

Hello Heather!
ReplyDeleteI admire your woodland Christmas tree! I hope you don't mind if I copy the idea? It looks magical!

the best ever...so cute! There are some things on it that I don't remember, those cute squirrels, the owls...and now these wonderful new mushrooms. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute! Don't ever change it, except to add more treasures as you find them. You know my philosophy is that you can never have too many Christmas ornaments! I just love all the "critters." (This is one of Tori's favorite words now.)
ReplyDeleteHow's the kitchen project? Hope that you are making out okay...Thinking of you!
Cindy
Heather,
ReplyDeleteDon't change a thing!! It's adorable, love all the "woody" elements! My main tree has oranaments that have been collected and made over the years. I also do those tall, skinny trees that look like forest trees with different themes, one has mittens, deers, etc. I also have a vintage silver tree which I do in my dinning room all in silver, and Kate has a pink tinsel tree in her room with vintage ornaments. It's so fun, I agree with cindy, above, you can never have to many ornaments, and I "can't" resist new ones that catch my eye!
Merry Christmas
Rebecca
So cute Heather!! LOVE the mushrooms....love the tree!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

Heather, i love it!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Those are just the cutest things I've ever seen. Love your little tree!
ReplyDeleteOh Heather, what a wonderful tree!
ReplyDeleteI have a large tree with special ornaments and handmade ones, snowman trees and of course Hubby has to have his Harley tree!!!
But I think yours is the best!!!
Have a Merry Christmas!

Love your woodland tree! I would actually rather do several small themed trees rather than one large one. They are so much fun to decorate.
ReplyDeleteI love it. My favorite tress are ones with a natural look. Nice job, my friend. And the mushrooms fit in perfectly.
ReplyDeletethe owls & the adorable little mouse. Oh, my tree is just Santas....
ReplyDeleteHeather,
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the cutest trees I have seen! I love all your ornaments and your theme. The theme of mine this year is "Let the kids run wild". Yes, I basically let them decorate the family room tree and then never got around to putting up "my" tree in the living room. I haven't decided if I will post the tree or not. I guess I will - it is pretty cute!

Love your nature theme. I think the little birds are my favorite, but the mushroom is really cute, too.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your woodland tree! I wouldn't change a thing Heather. I've done the same tree for many years now...I just add one or two new ornaments every year...I love my tree the way it is I just can't see doing anything else...So I totally get you. Still lovin' those cute little beeskips. Sending you a great big hug.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
♥Ana
Hi Heather!

It is adorable. I love the theme. Thank you so much for sharing. I have enjoyed looking around your special place. I will follow on my way out so as I can keep in touch. I hope you will find the time to pop over to my place soon and do the same. Whilst I am here I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to engaging and supporting you more in the New Year! Cheers SpecialK XoXo
ReplyDeleteYour tree is so adorable. I always decorate my trees the same. I might buy another smaller tree after Christmas so I can have one that I can do a theme in.
ReplyDeleteDear Heather,
ReplyDeleteI wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for this coming year!
Hugs,
Catherine
Sooo cute! I really don't think I had a theme just what looked pretty. I did roll some sheet music and stuck it in randomly for a different touch. Have a Merry Christmas! Traci
ReplyDeletePretty!!! I love my woodland Christmas tree also!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tree! I guess our theme is "Christmases past" as 80% of the ornaments were made by the kids or given to them to remember an event or as a gift. We do have a vast lot of bagpipe and grinch items that my husband has been given as gifts...
ReplyDeleteOk, I'll give. Ours is a mis-mash tree and always has been. But I do love the theme idea!
This is the cutest ever!!! love love love the mushrooms.
ReplyDeleteI love how it was the mushrooms that in the end broke you. It's hard I go into stores all the time and see pretty things I just want.
ReplyDeleteI did Woodland Christmas too! Love your tree.
