And then there was this...
And today, it looks like this!
I am so proud of my MacGyver husband! He did such a great job on the shelves and cabinetry, and he is currently working on our Pottery Barn inspired vanity...
As you can see, there are still many details to be completed, but we are getting close!! Hope that you stay tuned for the finished bathroom!
Looks fantastic; love the floor!

A handy husband is a good thing to have. Congrats on 20 years. A big accomplishment in this day and age.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. You are lucky to have a talented husband.
ReplyDeleteMine not so much, but I love him anyway.
Congats in so many happy years! And I am stunned, overwhelmed, and completely smitten with your bathroom. JUST STUNNING! We have been living in our house for the last year and gutted our master bath. We bought the house without a floor in the bathroom...demo-ed the whole thing and hubs lost replaced the floor but have nothing else. Cracks me up that we started with everything but the floor. Now we have a floor and nothing else. (Hubs lost his job which is why the remodeling had to stop). Whoa. I am sharing TMI in a little comment. sorry! Just inspired!
ReplyDeletecongrats on your 20th. Did I remember you saying there was a trip to New York on the calendar? I suppose this is to celebrate???

ReplyDeletep.s. sorry goggle was not letting me sign in again ugh I had to go as anonymous :)
Happy 20th! Your bathroom is just lovely. Can't wait to see more of your hubby's handiwork.
ReplyDeleteI love it. Once, when we lived for a while in the home that had belonged to my husband's grandmother, we remodeled her tiny bath much this same way. You can never go wrong with wainscoating/beadboard. Again, it looks great. Can't wait to see it all done. P.S. Left you a response to the comment you left me today. :)

Wow, that is quite a transformation in the kids'/guest bathroom! The shelves and cabinetry are gorgeous. I am sure the Pottery Barn-inspired vanity your husband is working on would be just as fabulous. Keep smiling!
