Yes, I am so excited...I finally finished my dust ruffle!
I finished it late last night and I could hardly wait to show it to all of you!
I must say that it wasn't the easiest home dec project to sew, but I think that it came out beautifully. I feel so lucky that many years ago my mother taught me how to sew. Otherwise, I probably could not have afforded such a lavish skirt! I think that I may need to take a break from the sewing machine for awhile, but in the meantime I will be playing with a few fabrics to make some decorative pillow shams for the bed. Here are some of the fabrics that I will be choosing from....
And because I am just so proud of myself, I must post one last photo of my dust ruffle...thanks for putting up with me!
You should be proud; it's absolutely gorgeous!
