Welcome! Don't worry, my Airedale, Simba, won't bite! He just wants to show off the front door window that I just stenciled. Here's another look at the window...
I saw this stenciling idea in blogland awhile ago, but, unfortunately, I don't remember where. Anyway, I used my bedroom stencil, some white acrylic paint and a sponge stencil brush. This was a super easy project. The acrylic paint is quite forgiving and can be easily wiped away in case you make a mistake! I was hoping for more privacy, but I will be hanging a shade on the inside to pull down when it gets dark. Perhaps you have a window to stencil?
This looks great and gives me ideas! thank you for sharing! Happy Valentine

ReplyDeleteOh, I DO have a window to stencil. It's my front door and it's about the same size as yours. Did you finish the stencil off with any type of protective coating? I really want to do this. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the stencil...very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you for you comment on my blog - I'm really quite depressed on how it's all turning out - nothing as I had hoped.
Not country - not warm - not me at all and it's not possible to do it all over:-(
Let's hope I can figure out something.
Beautiful Heather!!!

WAGI Heather...Loved it. Hmmm, now what window could I do that to? Oooh, how about a stencil across a sliding glass door? I think that would look pretty too. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy Valentine's Day my friend.

Love it! By the way, Heather...I used to joke around calling my husband, Simba because he loved the movie - The Lion King. We ended up having that song for our first dance at our wedding!
