Have you visited the blog, A Rosy Note? This week, Tricia is hosting her third Photo Feature Friday. Today's challenge is pink. Lucky for me, I was able to pick a bouquet of pink roses to photograph. I must admit, you can never go wrong with photographing antique pink roses! Plus, the photography gods must have been looking down on me, as the sunlight was just perfect! I just love this photo...
Using Picnik, I tried an effect called "cross process". Doesn't it remind you of Anthropologie ads?...
And because I just love these beautiful pink roses so much, I'll leave you with one last photo...
What gorgeous blossoms. I'm loving that picnik technique too.
ReplyDeleteCross process is one of my favourite photo effects...these are so beautiful..xo

Your roses are beautiful. I love the cross process too. It gives the photos a completely different feel.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!

i'm going to have to check out the photo processing on Picnik - i usually only play with borders, text and stickers... looks like i'm missing out on a lot of other editing features.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! The crisp in details really adds character to the photo not mentioning I super like the lush roses! Pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! What beautiful photos! I am so jealous that you have roses blooming right now! My bushes all have tight green buds that will surely not open for at least a few more weeks! I too love the cross process edit on Picnik! It's my favorite! Your vignette is just right too! Nicely done, my dear!
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes and Blessings,
Amanda
